We currently have the following management opportunities available for experienced nursing professionals:




  • Patient Care Manager, RN – Psych (22707)


  • Patient Care Manager, RN – Ortho (24042)


  • Assistant Patient Care Manager, RN – Psych (22890)



The Patient Care Manager (PCM) provides nursing leadership and management for a designated patient care unit or service. The Patient Care Manager is responsible for the nursing component of the following: management of patient care delivery, human resources management, performance improvement, fiscal management, and management of organizational change, unit goals and programs.



The Assistant Patient Care Manager (APCM) supports the Patient Care Manager in the management of a designated patient care unit. The APCM's primary focus is supervising daily patient care and ensuring that the care meets quality standards in a cost-effective manner. In addition, the APCM aids in human resources management, performance improvement, fiscal management, and management of organizational change, goal setting and program planning for the unit. The APCM provides consistent and timely information and feedback to the Patient Care Manager. The APCM assumes Patient Care Manager responsibilities in the Patient Care Manager's absence.



Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:






 



Minimum Qualifications:




  • BSN required


  • Two to three years recent experience  as a Patient Care Manager in an Acute Care Hospital environment


  • CA Registered Nurse (RN)
